Ever feel like just "being home"?
That's how some people say their heart feels when they come into the sanctuary of our church building.
Sunday morning is a wonderful opportunity to be welcomed home (no matter if it's your first or your thousand-and-first time there), to reconnect with God in whatever way you understand God, and to feel yourself nourished and enabled for another week of your life.
Nursery care is available; school-aged children normally share in the first part of the worship service before going to their classes.
We begin at 10:30 every Sunday morning, and you can Click Here (PDF) to see how our worship usually goes.
You are welcome – whether you are visiting from out of town, have just moved into the area, are looking for a church home, or just feel a nudge to worship. Greeters at the door will give you a bulletin outlining the worship service, and will help with any necessary directions to the nursery, the Sunday school classes, washrooms, and the Lower Hall where we gather for coffee after worship (usually the first Sunday of the month).
If you would like to check out anything ahead of time, contact the minister at 905-643-1317 or [email protected].
We have two choirs at Fifty, each in their own way “small but mighty”.
The Senior Choir:
- helps lead and support congregational singing
- offers an anthem most Sundays, ranging from traditional to contemporary
- presents a choral Christmas service, this year on Sunday, December 3 at 10:30 am
We encourage anyone who enjoys "making a joyful noise" to join us. No experience necessary! Practices are normally Wednesdays at 7:30 pm at the church.
The Joy Choir:
- is a junior choir that sings in worship once a month
- meets to practice Wednesdays at 6:30 pm at the church
We invite anyone who can read, to join us -- and join in the Joy of making good, fun music together. Even if you can't make every Wednesday, come when you are able. You are welcome.
